Marriage contracts

• Documents submitted to the notary (ORIGINALS ONLY):
  • passports and ID codes of the spouses (future spouses)
  • marriage certificate or application to the registry office for marriage registration

Attention! Taking into account the judicial practice that has developed in matters of joint property of spouses, a marriage contract is concluded by spouses regarding property that will be acquired in the future! The property that has already been acquired by spouses/couples during the period of living together as one family is to be divided through an agreement on the division of joint property (see the section on the division of marital property)
